Fire, water, mold, pretty much any damage to architectural millwork, cabinets, and furniture (old, new, antique).

Most cabinet claims involve partial restoration methods, which can include:

  • Fabricating new boxes and reinstalling the existing face frames, doors and drawers.
  • Fabricating new boxes with face frames, doors, drawers and then refinishing to match the existing cabinetry.
  • Refacing side panels with matching laminate or veneer, then, finish matching the existing color and sheen for a uniform appearance.
  • Rebuilding the interior of a sink base cabinet.

The majority of our cabinet repairs require shop work, but some repairs, like replacing toe kicks or side panel lamination, are done on site.

You do not have to use Xactimate.  However, we may have questions if an item seems out of line with industry/regional standards.

There is no commitment, but we’d love to have everyone stay on for at least a year, so they are exposed to the various claims and allow us time to let the carriers know we have more coverage in your area.  The more service capabilities you have, the more claims we can drive your way.

Turnaround time on a claim is determined by homeowner availability, material availability, your shop lead time and a whole host of other factors.  When you receive a work order and after you go out to the site to either complete repairs or pick up the items that need repaired, you enter an expected delivery date, and our expectations revolve around that.  If something changes or something unforeseen comes up, just make sure you are communicating with our Operations team by phone or in the member portal and updating that delivery date so that we know what is going on and why.

Most of our repair firms tell us the worst part of that work is dealing with the insurance company and/or adjuster.  That is what we do for you so that you can focus on your craft.  This also allows us to pay you directly and within 30 days of completion, so you aren’t waiting around for six to eight months for the claim to be closed.

Of course! We know that materials and labor cost way more in Los Angeles than they do in Central Pennsylvania.  Our estimates and pricing standards include regional modifiers for this reason, so that we can be in line with your pricing standards.  This allows both of us to make a profit while still satisfying the insurance adjuster and policyholder.
